Specialist Security Driver Training, 'Who Drives Spins' The Sun (3.6.05)
ICP Group, reknown for their close protection services across the world, are now making available their specialist security driver training courses.
CLOSE PROTECTION DRIVER (1 DAY) - For the Executive Protection Officer who needs to keep his/her skills current, this course is designed to 'refresh' evasive measures (J, Y, T, Fast Reverse and Handbrake), safe handling, counter surveillance, fast pursuit/convoy, Rural and Urban tactical positioning, hostile environment, etc. Updated: to include Iraq operations.
Attendee profile: Ex-military/police, professional CPO.
CORPORATE CHAUFFEUR & VIP DRIVER (1 DAY)
Designed for the professional VIP driver, this course is designed to improve on existing skills with testing on ELK, ERT, Over/Understeer management, Slalom, adverse conditions braking and handling, skid car, etc.
Attendee profile: Professional corporate/private chauffeurs
PERSONAL SAFETY & SECURITY (ANTI-ROAD RAGE & CARJACKING) (1 DAY)
Designed for any person concerned with the increasing risk of roadrage and carjacking situations, this course will provide you with the necessary skills and techniques to protect yourself against these types of situations and provide proven protective and evasive techniques if faced with them.
Attendee Profile: Any person.

Introduction to Executive Protection (2 day)
- A perfect course for anyone considering a professional career in this field of specialisation. We will provide a commercial providers insight to the skills, methods, practices, various forms,aptitude and attitude requirements, fitness, drills, IAs, report writing and other administrative requirements that you will need to develop and have to succeed in being recurited in a very competitive market.
Urban Executive Protection (5 day)
- Designed to provide all the necessary skills to operate in an unarmed environs, threat assessment and risk analysis, VIP journey management, residential security details, vehicle and pedestrian drills, individual and teamwork operations, communications, event management,etc. Currently extremely popular with both 'newcomers', military and police personnel and professionals returning from duties in Iraq and needing 'refreshing' and re-adjustment to duties in conventional environs.
Hostile Environs (5 days)
Specifically designed for protection officers seeking employment in hostile environments (Iraq, etc.)in an armed capacity. Covering all the subjects in the Urban course but adapted to operating in high-risk locations both on foot and by transport. Ideal for PSD, Convoy duties, Residential and site security details.
